The same thing happened to me... Here's the free way to get photos back on ur blog...
Create a new blogger account and add it as a contributor to your blog- then do all of the photo posts from that account until you run out of space on that account then create a new one and so on and so on...
I know, a bit of a pain but it's the cost of a free blog :)
