Happy New Year!

Hello! Carol-Anne here!
It has been a while since I last posted, but I have been a little busy, what with schoolwork and all!
I also got a job babysitting an adorable 1 year old boy most days of the week(And will be babysitting ANOTHER soon too!)

I can't believe its 2012 already! Its so exciting! :D

Maybe one of my 'New Years resolutions' will be to post on this blog more often! Hehe

In another note, the moon last night(and the night before) was very beautiful!

Puppy!~

You know a while back when I said I had a surprise?

No?

Well we we're going to get a puppy, we thought we had it all planned out to get a Black Lab, but then it  didn't work out.

But then about a month ago my Aunt told us she had a friend who lives near her who breeds Labradors which was the kind of puppy we wanted, so my aunt got the puppy from the breeder and brought her down to us a week ago.

We decided that the name was going to be Emma, so here are pictures of our 5 month old puppy!

The Black lab is our doggy we already had, named Samantha.

Hehehe, I got to choose the collar.
Well I think this is a long enough post to tell you about our puppy, right?
I didn't want to over react...hehehe...

Spring!!!

 Welcome one and all!

Today as you can see I will be posting about spring!

It has felt so good lately and I've been wanting to post for a long time on this subject but never got the chance (I'm such a procrastinator when it comes to blog-posting ;)

I thought that I better post about spring before spring becomes summer!

I first will show you all the flower pictures that Ive  taken lately during this weather.

This flower was actually just growing wild in someones yard....

(Growing wild in someones yard..... Hmmm) ;)

These flowers are so tiny, yet so pretty...



I love spring flowers, one of my favorite things(that might become a blog post haha).
God is so wonderful to give us these beautiful flowers.

Some other things about spring are the things we can do...
like wading in the local retention pond?
I guess so!



We went to our local retention pond, because Sam likes to swim
in it and we give her a bath afterwards,
James asked if it was ok to wade in it....I said yes, not thinking about how gross it was...but hey! He is still alive...right!?  ;)





This is as far as He went...probably a good thing.

Sammy...like all labs...LOVES the water... :)

Friday us four younger kids went to the Grays to spend the night.

I was browsing through the photos that Elisha and I took
and this certain picture freaked me out when I saw it.

We took Layla(the Grays dog) back home with us to dog-sit for the
Grays while they went to Georgia to see the M family.
I don't know if Hannah knew this but I found out that Lala doesn't like the camera
This was  the one and only good picture I got out of about 15 or 20, she kept moving!

Hello! I'm glad that you are visiting our blog today!

We had some difficulties with our blog,

Yesterday I got a box from my Grandma that had some baking supplies in it and alot of recipes and little cookbooks

Here are some of the other things she sent =)

A cookie press!!! I have never even seen one of these before,but they are so FUN! =P

I made cookies last night with this one and a few others that the boys chose.

There are also these, I don't know what these are for...Mommy thinks they might be for like cookie sticks or something...if you know, I'd like to know =P



The recipes(a little blurry, but you get the picture)



She sent these cake pans too, my Mom said she recognized
these from when she was growing up.

Measuring cups...they come in handy ;)

And a pastry blender! I can't wait to see how good it works!

She also sent a thing of sprinkles, chocolate chips and small M+Ms!

I made spritz cookies with my cookie press, here are how they turned out!

So that is why I'm happy, I know I said I would post about Lilis birthday,
and I was going to but that whole week we were busy and then the weekend was busy with Hannah's birthday, and I now finally I have time to post about our past however long its been...=)

Then on Lilis birthday, the Grays came over for a little birthday for Lili,
the Kennys also came over!

The Grays picked me up, and we went to a restaurant to eat
with Hannahs grandma and some of her friends,

Heres a very short recapity post and yes I just made up the word recapity

Okie day then I'm sorry for not posting frequently but not nmuch has been going on, well not enough to make a post about.

• Ok, well first off I just got rechargeable batteries for my camera, so I will be taking more pictures! yay! =D
• The other day we got an idea to make sun-brewed tea so we could put fresh fruit in it and such and last night we made it and it is sitting out right now, here are pictures...

The dark one I think is mint, it doesn't have fruit in it.

We are hoping that our idea turns out good and if it does I will let you know!~

Here is my cute brother with a cool temporary hair cut and a new magnifying glass of his~

And I will end this post by telling you that I have a secret that I really want to tell you but I don't like posting about stuff that only might happen so I must wait til either its more definent or it happens!
But I can tell you that I'm excited! ;)
